This week's MSM story .... Production Begins on the MSM/RT/SE

Worldwide production of the North American Mazdaspeed Miata along with its siblings the Japanese Roadster Turbo and Australian MX-5 SE began on Jan 14, 2004 at the Mazda Ujina No. 1 Plant in Hiroshima, Japan.

There were 26 LHD cars produced that day with the RHD cars starting a week later.
